Blue Thumb Training

September 18 and 19 from 9-4:30

Ray Harral Nature Center at 6898 S 3rd St in Broken Arrow

People can learn more about Blue Thumb by visiting their website at http://bluethumbok.com/. It is a volunteer water quality monitoring project and educational program that educates citizens and students about the importance and necessity of clean water. The training is free and attendees are encouraged to begin monitoring a stream in Tulsa County as part of a monitoring team. This is about a 3 hour commitment per month. The information collected by volunteers is shared with the US EPA and OK Department of Environmental Quality. It's a great way for ordinary folks to get outside and collect useful information about our state's streams. Those interested can contact me, Scott Grant, by phone or email. Thanks.
