The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ), Green Country Storm Water Alliance and Central Oklahoma Storm Water Alliance are pleased to present a FREE one day conference on Municipal Storm Water Management.

The conference will kick off with a welcome from Dennis Clowers, City Engineer and Public Works Director for the City of Oklahoma City.
Brent Larsen, EPA Dallas, Texas, will speak on the topic of proposed rule changes; ELG’s and how they will affect construction sites.
Phase II monitoring will be discussed by Paul Streets, Midwest City and Ashley Stringer, Edmond. They will give insight into how to begin and maintain a successful monitoring program.

Mark Derichsweiler and Karen Milford will look into ODEQ’s proposed rule changes as permits OKR04 and OKR05 are scheduled for renewal.
Joe Willingham, will discuss what an ODEQ inspector is looking for during a site inspection and some of the more frequent violations.

Jeff Bigby, City of Broken Arrow, will give a presentation on the success that Broken Arrow has had in establishing a Low Impact Develop-ment Program.

Paul Mayer, EPA National Risk Management Research Lab, will discuss stream Buffers, what they are, why they are needed, sizes, options and codes.
