This page is devoted to fund raising efforts of OEAFCS
FCS 4-H Advanced Scholarship - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
THIS SCHOLARSHIP HAS BEEN FULLY ENDOWED!!
The Oklahoma Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (OEAFCS) is sponsoring a fund raising campaign to endow the Advanced Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship awarded to an outstanding 4-H Record Book winner in the area of FCS. A $1,200 yearly award is given, so to endow this yearly amount, we are charged with raising $15,000.
We are asking for a one time donation to make this scholarship endowment possible. With the increases in costs in obtaining a college education, now estimated at over $11,000 a semester, it is crucial for college students to seek ways to offset their fees for tuition, books, living expenses, etc. With your financial support our challenge to assist students will be easier to meet.
Any OEAFCS officer or member would be most happy to meet with you to address questions. Please feel free to contact me at sonya.mcdaniel@okstate.edu
If you are ready to
assist the worthy cause of promoting the future of Family and Consumer Sciences
in our state, the check may be made payable to The Oklahoma 4-H Foundation- Oklahoma Affiliate, which is a tax exempt entity. Be sure to include on the memo line: OEAFCS/FCS Advanced Scholarship (I60) to
ensure your donation is directed to this effort.
Checks can be sent to OEAFCS Treasurer, Kristy Spalding at 125 W Main Cordell OK 73632.
We appreciate the support of people across our state for FCS Extension Programming and for the youth interested in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Sincerely,
Sonya McDaniel,
Extension Educator
OEAFCS State Past President
