Leading with Your Strengths: Southeast District CliftonStrengths Training

In-Service ID: 52450

In-Service Description: Join us for an engaging CliftonStrengths training designed specifically for Southeast District Extension Educators. This session will empower you to identify and leverage your unique strengths, enhancing both personal and professional development in Extension. Educators should register for the training by July 15. You will be emailed a link to the complete the CliftonStrengths assessment the week of July 21. CliftonStrengths is an assessment tool developed by Gallup that helps individuals identify their unique strengths across 34 themes. The primary benefits of using CliftonStrengths include increased self-awareness, improved team collaboration, and enhanced productivity. Extension educators can leverage CliftonStrengths in several ways: (1) Personal Development: By understanding their own strengths, educators can focus on tasks that align with their natural talents, leading to greater job satisfaction and effectiveness; (2) Team Dynamics: Knowing the strengths of others in your Extension office allows for better collaboration and role assignment, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively; (3) Learner Engagement: Educators can use their strengths to create more engaging and impactful experiences for their learners. The cost of the CliftonStrengths assessment will be covered through undergraduate research scholar funds provided by OSU Extension. There will be no cost to educators to attend this training.
