Bethany Scott

 

Bethany worked with Dr. Tyson Ochsner to map key components of the soil water balance using GIS while an undergraduate at OSU. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Science with a Water Resource option, and a Soil Science minor from OSU in 2010. During the summer of 2009, Bethany was an intern with the Bureau of Land Management where she worked with employees to convert archive maps to digital form as well as mapping new BLM properties. Bethany received her M.S. in Plant and Soil Science at OSU in 2012. Her research interests were water resources, geospatial analysis and mapping, and soil moisture. Bethany then worked as an Environmental and GIS specialist at Meshek and Associates, PLC for over two years. She is now working an an Environmental Specialist for Enercon, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
