The unusually cold temperatures during February 2021 in Texas may have recently exposed, not seen before, dead patches on bermudagrass fairways, tees or greens.

If you are starting to see symptoms similar to those above on either bermudagrass fairways, tees, or greens; the Turfgrass Disease Diagnostic Lab at Oklahoma State University would like to receive a sample or two from your course to: 1) see we can confirm it is spring dead spot and 2) determine the species diversity of the fungi causing the disease in Texas.
